EPLO Delegation visits Moldova
On February 3-5, 2025, an EPLO Delegation led by the EPLO Director Prof. Spyridon Flogaitis visited Chisinau to hold a series of high-level meetings with authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
In particular, the EPLO Delegation met with the Minister of Justice Ms. Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ms. Carolina Perebinos, the Chief of Cabinet of the Bureau for European Integration Ms. Cristina Cerevate, the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Cybersecurity Ms. Catalina Plinschi, the President of the Superior Council of the Magistracy Ms. Sergiu Caraman, the Director of the National Institute of Justice Ms. Ecaterina Popa, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment Mr. Petru Tataru, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Ms. Cristina Pereteatcu, and the Head of the General Police Inspectorate Mr. Viorel Cernauteanu.
The discussions focused on different prospects of cooperation aimed at building the capacities of the Moldovan authorities and supporting their efforts in pursuing the country’s accession process to the European Union.
During the meetings, the representatives of the Moldovan authorities and the EPLO also reaffirmed the commitment to developing and consolidating their mutual collaboration.
The Republic of Moldova is a Member State of the EPLO since 2010
